Savannah cat Veterinarians
Savannah cats are a highly popular breed of cat these days. There is quite a bit of misinformation on the world wide web. This makes some veterinarians reluctant to work on a Savannah or serval. You can try to ask a veterinarian why and try to fact-check with the proper information, or you can look for one who will see your cat/kitten willingly.
There is nothing worse than needing a veterinarian for your new Savannah kitten for the first time and not finding a vet who will do so. SCA recommends taking your new kitten to a vet almost as soon as you get it. That way you are all set up in case you need them in the future.
We want to make sure that our members and visitors have a comprehensive list of both Serval and Savannah cat-friendly veterinary clinics for routine care as well as for emergencies. Our breeder members have helped to compile this list and will continue to add more in the future. If you would like to have your cat doctor added to our list please email business@savannahcatassociation.org and put “add my vet,” in the subject.
